The oxygen concentrator community is growing
Our open-source platform on oxygen concentration draws interest all over the world.
Judging the reactions to our project started during the first wave of COVID-19, we realized that there are many people and institutions interested in DIY or "off-grid" oxygen concentration (external page Link). After months of working on improving prototypes, we shifted our focus at FML towards community building and are now collaborating with people and groups all over the world. Through contacts at the Swiss Red Cross, we are collaborating with Alex Bautista from the Technical Institute in Esmeraldas, Ecuador, where students could built a working oxygen concentrator with simple parts, based on our designs. Additionally, efforts of rebuilding our prototype are done in Peru, India, Ireland, South Africa and Mexico.
